If you would like to run a course, or if you are just interested in reading through the Course content in detail, Alpha India has many resources available, in 12 Indian languages (and counting!).
These materials include the books ‘Why Jesus’ and ‘Questions of Life’ by Nicky Gumbel. ‘Why Jesus’ is a short booklet for those who are having their first thoughts about the Christian faith, and ‘Questions of Life’ is designed for anyone wanting to read through the Alpha Course content in detail, chapter by chapter.
VCD-sets and Course manuals are also available, and have been translated into Assamese, Bengali, Hindi, Gujurati, Urdu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Oriya, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Nepali.
Alpha India is a not-for-profit organisation, and all Course materials are sold at as low a cost as possible. Alpha India wants to give the opportunity to explore the meaning of life to anyone who wants to.
Youth Alpha
Youth Alpha is Easy to use and has been successfully run by teenagers and adults in many different settings, including: Youth Clubs, Church Youth Groups, School Christian Unions, Re Lessons and Young Offenders Institutions. The content is based on the Alpha Course, and a typical course runs over 8-10 sessions with a weekend or day away in the middle
The Marriage Book
